In the beginning I had a lot of doubt and some real rough weeks- dealing with the scales not moving (despite sticking to the program to the T) as well as dealing with my own inner monologue telling me to just stop and give up – I’m sure you’ve all had that little voice telling you to just stop. But now that little voice has changed its tune and is telling me to keep going and how proud it is of me. I can’t say I find this ‘easy’, but as the weeks tick over I find it easiER to keep going. When I first started I had a goal weight I wanted to get to before I went on my first overseas trip (Europe) and this week I made it! I am now down 32kg and over 80cm’s in just over 30 weeks!!! I see and feel the huge difference it has made to me and my life and I can’t thank Adam Martin enough for the support, pushing and encouragement I have received over the past 6 months.

Since starting Adam’s Start Late, Stay Light program in September of 2016, not only have I lost 7kg and 7cm around my waist, I have also got a renewed energy for life and training.

The Start Late Stay Light program gave me an excellent framework to begin to get control of what and how much I was eating. I was really surprised at how easy I found the transition to the later day eating lifestyle. I’m not going to lie, the first day or 2 took a bit of getting used to but after that it was so easy. My diet wasn’t terrible before but I did need to lose a few KGs and this program got me on track with doing that. I began losing body fat in the first week and without having to give up all the sweet treats that I love. It made me more aware of how I was eating and tracking what I eat has made me more mindful of my eating habits without being obsessive. The Start Late Stay Light program is a lifestyle change and not a diet so I don’t feel like I am missing out on the good things in life, and most importantly for me it is a sustainable way of living. I’m not quite where I want to be yet but thanks to the Start Late Stay Light program I am well on my way and best of all – No ‘cheat’ days no feeling guilty – perfect!

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to you, for all the time, effort and money you have spent over the years in trying to get Sarah and myself healthy and lose some weight. Without you I would not weigh and feel as healthy as I do today. The Later Day Eating Life is something I find easy to do and can also follow and keep up for a life time. I am so grateful to you for changing my life for the better. I have a new lease on life and because of the weight loss, as well as feeling better, and full of energy it has also helped with my bad knee. It does not hurt as much and I can walk further without pain; therefore exercise more and so lose more weight. In my wildest dreams I would never have thought I could get my weight down into the 70kgs again. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I owe you for giving me back my life.

Well it’s very simple, by cutting out the bad habits in my life, and changing the way I thought about food has been fundamental to the results I have seen in the Start Late, Stay Light Program. Adam has shown me through his extensive knowledge and dedication to his clients that he knows exactly what he is talking about. The Start Late, Stay Light program has not only helped me lose weight but has also given me more energy. The program has also taught me what macro-nutrients are and shown me how to make different fats, carbohydrates and proteins fit my daily meal plans. I can now easily calculate everything I put into my body, making sure I only eat the best Fats, the best Carbohydrates and good quality Protein. I am very excited about my future, being fitter and healthier and most of all looking better.

Since starting with Adam on the start late stay lite program i have managed to loose the 10kg i couldnt seem to get off before, i am now in the best shape I’ve ever been in both physically and mentally. The best thing about this program is it isnt just fad diet its a lifestyle that is so easy to live with.

I was a strong believer that the best way to start your day was with a healthy and low GI breakfast. When I spoke to Adam during our initial phone call and he told me that my first meal wouldn’t be until 1pm, I must admit I panicked! I thought to myself “what is this guy thinking?? Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!!! How is this going to work??” I admit the first few days were difficult but my body quickly adjusted and the results started soon after. I began this journey on 9 October 2016 and to date I’ve lost close to 16 kilos!!! I feel incredible and everybody tells me that I look great!

Adam, thank you for going above and beyond in providing support for me on my weight loss journey. You have not only pushed me to reach my goals but have taught me that this lifestyle is sustainable and achievable. Knowing I have daily support from others on the program has really made me want to aim high, even though the only person I’m competing with is myself. Your program has given me the drive I’ve needed to finally achieve my goal of more 8 years, for that I will be forever grateful. Jo-Lo body here I come!

I started originally working with Adam over 18month ago, because I had torn my ACL. We worked together for 3 to 4 month before surgery building my knee up and over a year after my surgery. Adam set out a new program every 6 weeks which hit all my goals so I could move on to the next stage of my recovery. I have really enjoyed working with Adam who is a real gentleman who just wants people to hit there goals and be the best person they can be. After getting back to full capacity post surgery we began to talk about diet as I used to be a boxer and used to fight at 64kg. After my surgery I had blown out to 77kg and had to move back down in weight so I could fight. Adam is very easy to talk to and always willing to answer any questions I had for him. I would have no problem telling anybody that Adam is very good at his job and he cares about people getting results.
